Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

We typically think of Eagles perching on rocks, but I mounted this on a branch as on trips to the USA, I seem to see them on the floor or in trees rather than on rocks.

This great looking Eagle is found in North America and this particular bird died in captivity as part of a breeding programme.
