Short-Eared Owl – Attempt

I found a great photo of a Short-eared Owl and just had to have a go at reproducing it.  I did struggle to get the pose right and as you can see, it came close but not close enough.  So the morning after my failed attempt, I altered it to a standard pose.  It was a good learning curve though.

I did do a barn owl in a similar pose and that seemed to look a little more acceptable possibility due to getting more barn owls than short-eared owls and having more practice with them.
