Guest Items For Sale

If you are a taxidermist or collector with taxidermy item(s) and would like to put some work on my site, you can use the power of the web and my ever increasing mailing list. Please note that I will only accept items of a reasonably high standard.

How it Works

First item advertised attracts an Initial Charge of £10.00. Fiveubsequent items are charged at £12.50 each; or more items would be £7.50 each. These Initial Charges include valuation and for putting them on the web site. They are refundable against any sale via the web site.

The Commission rate is 15% up to £1,000 and 10% (minimum £15.00 discount if a few).

If you sell an item yourself, the Commission is not payable and I simply keep the Initial Charge.

If a sale is gained from the web site, I will arrange for the customer to pay yourself and to collect from you or for you to send direct to them. You would then send me a cheque for the Commission less the Initial Charge.
example:

Item sold at £150.00
10% Commission is £15.00
LESS Initial Charge £10.00 already PAID
To pay £5.00

 

Sending Photos for the Web site

You can either send a standard photo and I will scan it, or you can send a digital photo. If the latter, you should use the jpg format and at an ideal size of 600 pixels or bigger.

Taxidermy Law

You will need to provide a log number and valid copy of an Article 10 or appropriate licence number if necessary. If you have nothing with the item please provide all you can, also you may find a label or Number on the base/case.

 

Please Note

I retain the right to exclude any item at any time. Items will remain on the site for 6 months if you wish item be stay on longer please contact (no fee required).

Mike Gadd or web master retains the right to alter or amend the commission and charges, any charge agreed will be unaffected.
